Recently, we had the opportunity to assist Mr. Johnson, a 68-year-old patient who had undergone knee replacement surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. While he was eager to return home, his family was unavailable to pick him up, and he was unable to get into a regular vehicle due to limited mobility.

Our CareRide Nationwide team stepped in, providing him with a wheelchair-accessible vehicle and trained staff to assist with transfers. We carefully helped him from his hospital bed to our vehicle, ensuring he was comfortable and secure throughout the ride. Upon arriving at his home, our team assisted him up the ramp into his house, ensuring he reached his recovery space safely and without stress.
